Cartagena, Colombia is easily one of the most beautiful cities I’ve EVER been to anywhere in the world. Inside the Old Walled City you’ll find narrow streets lined with beautiful historic buildings dripping in flowering greenery. Not to mention, it has some of the best food in the region! Plan your days around the heat though because it’s beyond warm, year round.
Cartagena is incredibly easy to get to and an ideal spot for a long weekend. I’d spend 2-4 days in the city!
