Barcelona is one of the world’s most famous cities, and for good reason! It has amazing architecture, situated on the sparkling coast of Spain, and overflowing with history. But because it’s so famous it’s also really busy! So be sure to plan your time accordingly and make reservations for big attractions like La Sagrada Familia, Parc Guell, etc.
I recommend spending at least 2-3 nights in Barcelona, but even 24 hours will allow you to see a lot!
Where to Stay
There’s soooo many accommodation options in Barcelona, but location is what I’d aim for! Personally I like to stay near La Rambla or in the Gothic Quater (I’ve done both). If you choose to stay a bit further from other attractions, try to stay close to the metro! It’s the easiest way to get around the city (you can also Uber but I prefer the metro).
Places are roughly listed from starting prices high-to-low.

What To-Do
There’s SO much to do in Barcelona!! Don’t forget to just take a stroll through some of the scenic alleyways, stopping at any cafes or shops that catch your eye. A pitcher of sangria before a flamenco show is also a perfect way to end the day!
There’s also some amazing day trips just a few hours away from Barcelona if you have time!
